Back to blogging in September, enjoy the summer!
The TTAP Method(R) website is currently undergoing lots of changes and additions. The US goverment approved both a registration and trademark for Therapeutic Thematic Arts Programming (TM), TTAP Method (R) and with 8 international efficacy research studies published, the TTAP Method(R) is now approved to applying for patient pending status in 2010.
There are over 10 new educational movies, featuring all the 9 steps of the TTAP Method(R) process great for teaching and observation of clinical practice. Over 10 educational lectures, from webinares over the past 12 months with ceu's available through national organizations.
I will be taking the next few weeks off as my first grandchild is soon to be born, so have a great august and look for upcoming events and new website at www.ttapmethod.com on September 1, 2010.

TTAP Method Featured this coming AATA 2010 Conference
The TTAP Method will be featured as a pre-conference Day Long Intensive, as well as a conference session on How the TTAP Method(tm) Enhances Documentation, Outcomes and Efficacy Research in the Creative Arts.
Dr. Levine Madori has been selected by AATA to lead the Masters Supervision group for Art Therapists working in Gerontology and Alzheimer's Disease.
Please look for more information in early September on dates and times. Featured below is a short movie on how a participant of the TTAP Method Certification Class held in Finland during May of 2010, reflects on her past, present and future. TTAP Method Certificaton Course will be given again this coming 2011 for 3 credits through St. Thomas Aquinas College and HAMK University.

Back in the United States
It has been a few weeks since I have blogged, as my oldest daughter just got married this past Friday, June 18th and I have been busy catching up on new possibilities.
There has been much excitement around researching the TTAP Method in the VA Hospitals in Dayton, Ohio; Miami, Florida; and Dallas, Texas. Dayton , Ohio will start a Certification Training in September on thursday September 16th and 17th- Those interested in attending can contact me directly at llevinem@stac.edu.
The Method is the first to file and receive trademark rights and is in the process of recieving patient rights from the United States goverment due to the now 7 studies proving the effects on cognition and psychosocial wellbeing in a variety of populations including the well elderly, those in community day centers, mild, moderate and advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease and mst recently children with psyciatric problems.Soon to be released is the TTAP Method workbook for Autism.
I have been obtained by the publishers Jessica Kingsley to write my third book ( and 6th self published book) over the summer which will be titled: Art Therapy Interventions for all the psychological Domains
This pubication will be the first art therapy book to not only address the goals and behavioral directives in each Art Therapy session, but will go further to give the reader multiple experientials for each domain along with protocals, supplies needed and clear concise expectations of the Therapist, the participant or the group along with the academic reasoning behind the goals of each experiencial.
